Overheard During A Non-Nap

Well Natalie took a 2 hour non-nap today. She spent that time in her crib, yes, I said crib. We put the sides back on. I think she is just too young for the freedom. She was in and hour for 2+ hours the last two nights. We tried the whole Supernanny don't-look-just-put-in-bed-over-and-over and it did not seem to work for us quite yet. She is only 21 months. Anyway, back to the main story. I kept checking on the monitor to see if she was awake and heard some funny 'conversations'.

Help me mommy, I stuck in here. Stuck in baby bed mommy.
Here go bunny, thank you, welcome (she gave him a book).
Where my bible book go? I tired, I need bible book.
Happy birthday mommy and daddy, I play toys.

Natalie is very entertaining. I can't wait to share stories like that of Ben! I think I am going to come in January - December is going to go too fast. I found some flights for less than $200 so there are good deals. hilary

Very cute! We went through that same stage and still do about once a week with our little guy getting in and out of bed. He normally sits at the top of the stairs or goes into bed with his sister. I love the pictures

Adorable!!! I've been meaning to share that the last few nights Joey has been too silly to fall asleep in a bed. Fortunately, MJ still zonks out in 5 minutes so isn't bothered by his silly brother. We've had to put him in his crib a few times and then move him to his bed when we go to bed. He doesn't like it much, and will try to be good if we warn him he will be put in the crib if he leaves. At least in the crib he is able to settle down.
