Here is my 37 week picture (from today) and a picture from my shower with my friend Rachel who is 6 weeks behind me!

Ryan and I have been so blessed to have had 2 wonderful baby showers, and one more coming up this weekend. My mom is flying into town to come to the shower too, then we're going to shop for the things we still need for the baby. Today 37 weeks are complete, so I have 21 days left (give or take some). Ryan ended up being off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this week so we'll have a lot of fun this weekend too. I'll post some belly and nursery pics later this weekend. Things are wrapping up!

Well, now I'm going to the doctor every week. Today she was having a heart rate of 155 and everything still seems great. No news other than if I don't have her by February 16th, the doctor will write me a note to stay home from work after that. So there is an end in sight! Here's 36 week picture, and one of my lazy dog.

Ok, a couple days later and I think it's a whole different shape. Interesting.

Eek!

So I get to work this morning and I was talking to my assistant about how bummed I was this weekend about Ryan's new shift. I was going on and on about how he is working at night, and I don't want to be alone in case something happens with the baby, and now he can't take his classes, blah blah blah. So I'm in the middle of a sentence and I SHRIEK and jump about 10 feet in the air because there is a HUGE DEAD MOUSE on the floor! Meanwhile, the bell is about to ring, so I made the kids stay in the hall. I sent my assistant to get the custodian, who can't be found. So they put out an emergency call for her to come. My assistant told the secretary they better hurry because she'd never seen a pregnant woman jump so high in her life. We all got a good laugh. One of the other teachers had found mouse droppings for awhile, so she said he must have come to the cleanest room and found no food and finally keeled over. I think I had a small heart attack, but we're all good now!
