Changes

So with a baby, comes a lot of change. Some of them more pleasant than others. Right now the change I do not like is that the PS2 is now hooked up to my living room t.v. It used to be in Ryan's 'man-land', which is under a slow conversion to the baby's room. Instead of enjoying hours of TLC or MTV today, I am stuck watching Ryan race cars. Bah humbug.

Taking Bets

So right now, I am saying that we are not finding out whether the baby is a boy or a girl. So I'd like bets please! You pick boy/girl, date, and time. Closest person will win a prize :-) My due date is February 16th, so keep that in mind when betting. Good luck!

Carpet

After a year of staring at carpet with gray around the baseboards and sticky black lines up the stairs, we finally hired Lowe's to intall carpet upstairs. I love it! The pattern almost makes it look more like a rug, which I think is cool. Ryan also suggested one of his broken video game chairs be used to recover a glider I got at a garage sale. Now it will match the room!!!

We had so much fun with Sam and Susan when they came to visit. We went on a naval tour cruise, explored the Wisconsin Battleship, went to Busch Gardens, went to the beach, and lots more. The weather was beautiful, but a bit hot!

Texas Trip

Here are some pictures of our trip. One of Ryan and I in Galveston, one of Ryan and Annelise (our niece), and one of his mom, stepdad, sister, Felix, and Annelise. We had a good time - we love our niece!

Trip

We had a great time visiting both our families and friends. We spent time with our niece Madeline, as well as all our STL friends at a baby shower/4th of July bash. Now I've got a week of work and a trip to TX on the agenda. I love summer!
