Hot Momma

So my friend sent pictures of the day I was crowned Hot Momma. Natalie decided to try the crown on too!

First Sign!

Natalie did her first sign today!! I woke up from a nap and she must have been hungry. I looked over and said "Hi Natalie" and then she clearly made the sign for milk, smacked her lips, and started reaching for me :-) I am so excited. I didn't get a picture of her, but here's a link of other babies signing milk!

Almost Crawling

Here is Natalie starting the army crawl!



Natalie also is trying to get from a sitting position to her hands and knees. But she either gets stuck with one leg behind her and the other crossed in front OR she flops down onto her belly and resumes her slow army crawl.

7 Month Bunny Pic

It is getting harder to take the bunny picture because:
1. Natalie hates to be on her back now
2. She tries to grab absolutely everything in her reach

7 months have just flown by. I can't believe how much older she is looking in the face. Much more kid-than-baby-like.

Update on Back Pain

I finally got my x-ray last week, as most of you know I had broken my tailbone during Natalie's arrival. Turns out that when my sacrum and coccyx healed, instead of being straight down, it healed pointed 90 degrees toward my belly! Yikes! Not sure what they are going to do yet, but at least I know it wasn't all in my head.

26th Birthday

It was a great day! Ryan and Natalie got me a card, candy, a book, and crocs (through Susan). Then Polly and Chris took us to King's Dominion and made me cupcakes! Finally, Ryan watched Natalie while I went out with my Peninsula Mommies friends!

College Roomate Reunion

We got together this year at Amanda's wedding. I love getting to hang out with my 802 girls!

A few trip pics

Natalie went golfing with Great Grandpa, Oma, Opa, Krista, Ryan and I. She had a good time, and a few tears. We also have been to a wedding, to see Great Grandma, to see Popaw, Grandma, Aunt Kim and Uncle Jeremy. More pictures to come!

Natalie got sad in the car seat thinking she was going to be in it for 14 hours again.

Adventures In Babysitting

Natalie had her friend Carter over today while his momma went to work. They had a good time playing together.

Daddy's Girl

Natalie and Daddy are excited for the game tonight! First Cowboy game of the season.

Busy Weekend

Natalie is trying her darndest to be mobile. She's rocking, spinning, and moving backward. She is so mad to lay on her back, so changing diapers is difficult. Here's a video of her rocking and smiling. Those smiles are getting harder now that she's having some seperation anxiety.

I'm searching for a sippy with handles and a straw. She was chewing on Miss Heather's straw and had her first sip of sweet tea. We thought it was an accident until she did it 2 more times. I think it will be easier for her to use than one you have to tip back.

And my last news is I was voted "Hot Momma" from my leadership team for Peninsula Mommies. I have the crown until we vote for next months meeting!

Big Night Out

Ryan and I went to the Rascal Flatts concert last night - the longest date we've had yet.
We dropped Natalie off at 3:30 and picked her up at 12! We went with 2 couples from my mom's group. Here are the gals, Polly and Pam!



The guys were not as thrilled to see Rascal Flatts, but glad to get out of the house kidless too. They also had to help 2 ladies who got their key stuck in the car because their battery died. We were waiting around in the parking lot form 5-7 because we had to beat traffic on the way down, so we just chatted for awhile. Jim, Chris and Ryan tried their best not to smile.



Here are pics of us enjoying the concert! It was a nice evening, about 75! We actually bought seat-seats, so no itchy grass issues.

Jumping Bean

Natalie has really started using her doorway jumper. She likes to bounce, spin and twist around. She looks so happy in it. Here's a video of her going to town!

Daddy and Me
