Fun Day

We had a fun day at church yesterday. We meet at a YMCA because it's only been around for 3 years and we haven't been able to purchase a building/land yet. So last night we had a picnic and they shared the news with us that they purchased 26 acres of land. The coolest part is the land was on sale for 2.6 million dollars and the owner sold it to our church for 800,000 dollars. Amazing. Even better, we did baptisms at the river afterward, and a good friend of mine from work and her son were baptized along with a bunch of other people. It was really neat to see so many prayers answered yesterday.

Visit

Last week I went to Richmond to meet a friend from high school, Tricia, and her son Mario. We had a good time hanging out, made me miss the good old high school days!

First Baby Pics

We had our first appointment today, finally. I'm officially 11 weeks and 2 days pregnant. The baby was so wiggly and squirmy it was hard to get good pictures or a good length of heart beats. Eventually he/she settled down and we found out everything is right and healthy for both of us. We're so excited. This makes it so much more real!
