In more terrifying news, she now can turn knobs and open doors. We thought at first it was an accident. She likes to hide in the closet and yell BOO when we open the door. I guess we took too long yesterday, so she opened it and came out. We put her back in because we thought it must have just been not closed tight. After 4 more times we were convinced she CAN do it, we just thought it was only doors that pushed out. Once again, we were wrong. She can also turn knobs and PULL open doors, like the bathroom and pantry. Good for potty training, not good for someone who says HUNGRY 14 hours a day!

Pumpkin Painting
This afternoon was beautiful. It would up being in the 60-70's so we headed out to the park to paint pumpkins and paint handprint turkey pictures. Natalie looked cute in all her Halloween colors. She also had fun on the playground.

yes yes...life got a lot more difficult when balin learned to open doors. seemed to happen the same day we put him in his toddler bed...i hear it is only a matter of time before they learn how to turn the knob even with the "baby proof" thing on it.
It's amazing how quickly they learn... And how much quicker they learn the things you'd rather they didn't!! I love her Minnie costume... Did you make it?
Tell me about it! Zach has been getting out of bed more and more (were still trying to break him of that) but we though lets just close the door he couldn't possible open it. We were completely wrong about that. So we are at a stand still on this delima. ugh!! Like right now it's 2 hrs past his bed time and I hear him at the top of the stairs talking to him self. not in bed at all.
oh my...she reminds me of MJ. They do have some child-proof door knob things which work unless she figures out how to work those things (like MJ did). It was really bad when he thought the front door would be fun to open! I ended up having to lock some doors I didn't want him to get into (like the bathroom before he was potty trained) and then leave a "key" which all we needed was a coin above the door trim to open it ourselves. And for the kid who won't stay in their room at bedtime, we used a baby gate in front of his door.
