Ryan and Natalie were just hanging out last night and looked so sweet. Drake was passing out just along with her. Today she was dressed for the 80's in a new spring outfit in her new bouncer seat. She seems to love hanging out in there. For those who have been curious, cloth diapering is going really well. We bought Bumkins covers - they are like a waterproof diaper shaped cover, so all we do is fold a cloth diaper in thirds, lay it in the cover, and velcro it on like a disposable. Then I wash diapers every other day when my pail gets full. We use disposables at night and when we are out and about.

She is such a cutie. I can't wait to see her in two weeks. We did get your annoucement but unfortunately the mail people / machine tore it in half. I was very mad. oh well the things that mean the most get destroyed.

Hey Kim! Natalie's so adorable. I was wondering though, what made you decide on the cloth diapers? My mother used cloth diapers with me (granted, a very long time ago), and I don't think she ever fully recovered!

I think it's wonderful that you are using cloth diapers! It's less waste (ha!) and better for their skin. I'm thinking about trying it too.

I was wondering about the cloth diapers. I am glad they are working for you. I thought about that too. I thought, cloth diapers would mean less garbage and be more cost efficient, but then I thought that I'd use more money on energy and water to clean them. Then again, I'm sure there's a lot of energy consumed to make disposable diapers in the first place. Confusing!
