Here is a recent e-mail I recieved pertianing to the Standards of Learning tests given at random grade levels to support No Child Left Behind:
Good afternoon HCS personnel,
It has come to my attention that some staff members in our schools have
read and discussed the SOL Writing prompt. Be advised that this is a severe
breach of test security. All discussion must cease immediately. At no
time is it ever permissible to read or discuss any SOL question.

How come you can't read them?! If they don't want you to read them, then they shouldn't give them to you before the students are required to complete it. Am I confused or is that really stupid?
It is so dumb. We are not supposed to read it at all because you can't answer questions for them anyway. They are also kept locked in a vault and you have to sign them in and out. SO DUMB!!!
